The Pathway Swing Forehand and Backhand Part 2
The Forehand & Backhand
The Forehand
After identifying that the ball is on the forehand side, the player begins the back swing by leading the racquet head by opening the racquet face and maintaining an open face throughout the back swing.
Although, the back swing is not compact the player can reflex forward at any stage but this can cause the player to poke and not stroke the ball.
The Backhand
After identifying that the ball is on the backhand side, the player begins the back swing by leading the racquet head by opening the racquet face and maintaining an open face throughout the back swing.
Although, the back swing is not compact the player can reflex forward at any stage but this can cause the player to poke and not stroke the ball. Furthermore, the follow through is not compact.
