The Player's Posture and Visualisation

The Player's Posture

The players posture assists the player to react. Furthermore, the player must be balanced. The player's knees are only slightly flexed while the player remains relaxed ready to react.

When on The T the player's posture remains consistent no matter where the opponent is positioned.

Visualisation

Also, visualisation is used to assist the player to react to retrieve the ball.

For example, when the opponent is at the front and may drive the ball either side, the player visualises an arrow simultaneously moving out laterally each side from the hip.

For example, when the opponent is behind and may drive the ball either side, the player visualises an arrow simultaneously moving out laterally each side from the hip.
